This session ale is a very light beer - a real thirst-quencher, with an alcohol percentage as low as natural fermentation allows. The result is an unpasteurized, blond beer of 3.5% alcohol. Summer Crush tastes like real full-strength beer, super refreshing, with herbal aromas and fruity notes of mandarin and kumquat. The body is well-balanced, which is the main challenge when brewing low alcoholic beers. A fine but moderate bitterness increases drinkability to the max!This collaborative Session Ale was made to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Brussels Beer City, a blog which covers all things Brussels brewing, created by Eoghan Walsh. To brew this beer, he brought along another friend of De La Senne, Hélène Spitaels. She collaborates on Brussels Beer City, but is also the driving force behind "Once in Brussels" - DLS' partners who take care of the guided tours in the brewery.
