Description

Roundhouse Kick from Crew Republic is an Imperial Stout that really packs a punch. This German brewery has a hop grenade for its logo, and for good reason! Brewed with Columbus and Tradition hops, this Imperial Stout is a black bomb with a beautiful beige head and aromas of coffee, licorice, caramel, grass, toasted malt and dark chocolate. There is a nice balance on the palate between the aggressiveness of the hops and the sweetness of the malts with flavours of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, caramel, dried fruit, alcohol, licorice and herbs. This would be a perfect accompaniment to smoked meats or chocolate desserts.
